Intro:

A young swordsman and capable fighter who ended the war against the Harbringers of Calamity. However, to avoid becoming the public “hero” that saved Celis, he faked his own death and now lives on his own, only entering the city when needed.

Backstory:

Born in the slums on another continent, Raven learned to fend for himself at a young age. During his time on Celis, Raven is instructed in basic swordsmanship and the fundamentals of using aura.

Personality:

“Show me a good-looking apple that’s hard to get, and show me a bad-looking one that I can get pretty easily. I’ll take the bad-looking one over the good-looking one any day.”

Due to his upbringing, he tends to run away from anything that is risky or otherwise makes him uncomfortable.

Despite this, he is usually cheerful and playful, making jokes and snide remarks when others are around. However, because he’s usually alone, no one knows if that’s how he really is, or it’s just a facade.

Intro:

A prodigious expert at swordsmanship and lover of competition, after Valerie clashes with Raven in the arena, she seeks him out again to learn the mysteries of “aura”.

Backstory:

As a master swordsman, Valerie’s father saw to it that if Valerie ever needed to, she would at least be able to hold her own in a fight.

Valerie enjoyed training every day and ended up surpassing his expectations, hoping to one day best her mentor in a match. However, that goal would come to an end the day that her father died at the hands of the Calamities.

Personality:

Valerie is typically kind and compassionate towards others, but is especially fond of kids and respectful of her elders, sympathizing with children who only have one parent like she did, and admiring the single parents that work to support them.

However, when it comes to fighting, Valerie shows her strong, bold, and confident nature, radiating with an unbreakable and unwavering spirit.
